ABOUT THE MITCHELL REPORT

Our History

The Mitchell Report (TMR) is an independent digital media and commentary platform delivering direct, rigorous analysis on law, politics, culture, and public institutions.

Founded by Washington, D.C.–based attorney and legal analyst Andrellos Mitchell, a writer and commentator on law, politics, and culture, TMR publishes original commentary grounded in legal reasoning, historical context, and institutional accountability. Mitchell began writing newspaper commentary in 2008, and The Mitchell Report represents the evolution of that work into an independent publication, launched in 2025.

TMR exists for readers seeking analysis beyond partisan narratives, shallow talking points, and selective truth-telling. The platform is editorially independent and unaffiliated with any political party, campaign, or advocacy organization.

We focus on clarity, honesty, and the real-world impact of policy and culture on everyday Americans — especially those ignored or misrepresented by mainstream media. Our work covers a broad range of issues, including legal controversies, constitutional questions, immigration policy, civil liberties, race, education, and institutional accountability.

The Mitchell Report is grounded in three guiding principles:

• Truth over tribalism — We do not follow party lines or recycle advocacy scripts

• Clarity over confusion — We explain complex issues in plain, direct language without sacrificing depth

.
• Courage over comfort — We confront hard topics and challenge institutional failures, even when it’s unpopular.

Drawing from legal experience, public-policy insight, and firsthand lived perspective, The Mitchell Report aims to elevate national conversations with integrity, independence, and a willingness to speak the truth plainly.

Our mission is simple:
To tell the truth without fear, favor, or political loyalty — and to give readers the analysis they deserve, not the spin they’re fed.
